Outside of making the perfect gin martini (pro tips: 1. keep your gin in the freezer 2. your vermouth is old, throw it out), Carly is a lifelong lover of and believer in the power of creative arts. She works as a professional actor and content creator in Austin, TX, and Jackson, WY. She trains with Lesly Kahn in Los Angeles and Carol Hickey in Austin. Comedy is her love and sweet spot, she’s always chomping at the bit to throw in some improv and find the humor. As a successful commercial actor, Carly has booked over 70 commercials for brands like Jeep, Toyota, Home Depot, Schlotzky’s, Discover Card, Remax and more! She is known for her collaborative and positive attitude, her attention to detail, her willingness to be vulnerable and her knowledge of marketing. 

The film industry is fantastic, but for Carly, none of that matters if you’re not giving back to the world around you. Growing up Carly heard her parents regularly ask this question…what will your contribution to the world be? This call to action has inspired a deep commitment to supporting the community of Austin, specifically in regards to youth, art and creativity. Carly sits on the boards of both The Alchemy Theatre and Creative Action, a non-profit that uses the arts as a medium to inspire creativity, unlock potential, and transform the lives of students of all ages while building community and practicing social justice. She also is a member of the University of Texas Performing Arts Leadership Board. A graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, Carly spent several years working in the food and beverage industry at KIND Healthy Snacks. Her love of branding and marketing continues via her husband Clayton, food and beverage entrepreneur and investor. 

When she isn’t storytelling and working with nonprofits, Carly spends time with Clayton, their two children James and Charlotte seeking adventure and making memories!
