Based between Austin, Los Angeles, and Jackson, Hole, WY, Carly is an actor, producer, content creator and writer. Her most recent feature, Lady Kings of Texas, is currently in post-production. Lady Kings of Texas is a women-led, diverse story exploring women’s rights and bodily autonomy in Texas through the lens of suspenseful satire. Carly has produced and associate-produced several shorts, including Four Influencers and a Funeral (Austin Film Festival 2024 Texas Short Film Award Finalist). As a film professional, Carly seeks to be “an ambassador of feeling” focusing on stories that reflect our shared human experience in an honest and vulnerable way. As an actor, Carly has appeared in network shows such as Duster by producer J.J Abrams (Max), Criminal Minds (Paramount+), and Landman (Paramount+). She’s known for her indie comedy work in films like Berliners (Berlin Independent Film Festival), and The Stress Is Killing Me (Best NM Feature, Santa Fe Film Festival). She's also a prolific commercial actor, having starred in over 70 ads for major brands like Ford, Home Depot, Nissan, and more. a content creator, Carly’s social media posts and Instagram and TikTok (with over 3.8 million likes) have won the hearts of 90k+ followers. Her platforms focus on relatable, comedic content that connects and unites viewers.
Carly has a deep commitment to the communites around her and seeks to support and uplift the arts, families, and youth. Within filmmaking, she is helping to shape the newly formed Jackson Hole International Film Festival as a board member and Executive Committee member. Carly also sits on the board of University of Texas Performing Arts Leadership Board, a collective of national and international volunteer leaders in the arts, business, and philanthropy, dedicated to expanding Texas Performing Arts’ world-class programming, positioning the organization as an international leader in the performing arts, and strengthening the bond between the performing arts and the communities they serve. A life-long lover of theatre, Carly also co-founded The Alchemy Theatre in Austin, serving as board chair and currently as a board member, helping to bring authentic stories to the Austin community. Carly was an active board member with the youth-arts organization Creative Action in Austin for over 8 years, assisting the organization with fundraising, development, and event support. Carly and her husband Clayton oversee the Christopher Family Foundation and support non-profit organizations such as the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, Big Brothers Big Sisters, March of Dimes, Austin Film Society, Rescue One More, Austin Housing Conservancy, RIP Medical Debt, and more. Most recently, Carly became a board member of Vocare, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of human flourishing.
